Aclar® RX Series Moisture Barrier Films

Gordon Cross Corporation is Honeywell's exclusive exporter of Aclar® Rx moisture barrier films to Japan's pharmaceutical market. Aclar is a 100% homopolymer fluoropolymer PCTFE film. In the Health Care industry, Aclar film is laminated to PVC or CPP film and thermoformed in PTP (push through packaging) of pharmaceutical blister packaging.

Aclar®
Rx film is a clear, non-flammable moisture barrier film widely used in today's global pharmaceutical packaging industry.

Aclar® Rx series film, which now replaces the old 33C series co-polymer Aclar® films, is a greatly improved 100% homopolymer PCTFE moisture barrier film widely used in pharmaceutical blister (PTP) packaging in combination with PVC or PP base films.

Aclar® Rx barrier films enjoy excellent MVTR with a MVTR range from 0.08-0.78 g/m2/24 hrs/40C/100 RH ASTM. 

Aclar® laminate films are easy to thermoform and more environmentally friendly compared to PVdC/PVC laminate structures.
